Napa Valley Grenache

From a small, organically farmed hillside vineyard along Soda Canyon Road, where Cabernet typically reigns, this Grenache breaks the mold. Aromas of bright red cherry and raspberry unfold with hints of dried herbs, lavender, and sun-warmed earth, supported by a silky texture and fine structure. It can cellar for 10+ years, yet as winemaker Sarah Vandendriessche notes, if you do not have a cellar, simply decant and enjoy. It does not need to be a serious wine, but it can be.
